about me...

My name is Leon Zeng, and I’m a 3rd year student at the University of Waterloo, currently studying abroad at Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan. Recently, I was a research assistant at the UW Haptic Experience Lab, part of the Games Institute. I’m interested in accessible design, UX in video games, and cooking.

in my free time...

I enjoy playing and creating music, whether it be from the comfort of my home, or with my friends from UWaterloo. Last year, I was the president of the Animusic Ensembles, a club dedicated to playing songs from popular (or unpopular!) anime or video games. I also have been the musical director for the acapella group The Water Boys for the past year.

in the future...

I am looking forward to returning from Japan and starting new music and game design projects! It's been a blast abroad, but I also can't wait to return (to my setup) and get to work.

right now...

I am excited for the new Teamfight Tactics set 10, and have been following LOL Worlds 2023. I am also learning new tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Inkscape, and practicing the double bass.
